• First, you must open the back panel; a mechanic can do that easily.
• After removing the rear panel (backside glass), disconnect the broken display’s connection from the motherboard.
• Connect the new display’s flex to the motherboard and place the display on a bubble wrap.
• Power on the phone, and you can use the new display as if it is installed.
• After testing the display, you can install it on your phone.

You don’t need to remove the cracked display first, as you can easily try the new LCD screen on the rear side of your phone.

Q: What if the battery back door (backglass) is also damaged?

The back glass is also fragile and can easily break when you drop the phone. We also have brand new battery back glass available and, you can buy a new Original Back glass here.
