3. You don’t need to remove the cracked display yet; open-condition testing must be done on your phone’s rear side.
4. Take the new display, carefully connect it to the charging PCB, and turn on the phone.
5. Test the new display thoroughly to your satisfaction and then install it on the phone.

You can also test the fingerprint scanner before installing the display. Don’t attempt self-installation without expertise, and hire a technician for Rs 300-400 to install the display.
